Project overview
At Develeco we are excited to be responsible for the delivery of a new build quasi office-industrial unit for a local business in the East Midlands area. The 2-acre development site is part of a wider housing development by a third party developer. We are currently negotiating a legal agreement on behalf of the client, before design and construction activities can progress in full. The new unit will be highly efficient and targets low embodied carbon, achieved in part through a hybrid steel and CLT frame. The building has a net zero operational carbon aspiration. The construction cost is expected to be in the region of £5m-£6m.
