Lamb Lane, Hackney

A mixed-use scheme in London Fields: 946 sqm of commercial office space and 19 residential apartments.

Project overview

We are proud to be leading the delivery of this mixed-use scheme in Hackney, acting as Project Managers and Employer's Agent on behalf of our client. Located within the Mare Street Conservation Area, 10-24 Lamb Lane occupies a prominent and sensitive site in London Fields. The redevelopment involves the demolition of a low-quality post-war industrial building and the construction of a new high-quality contemporary development comprising 946 sqm of commercial office space and 19 residential apartments. We are responsible for driving programme certainty and managing the project through critical milestones, from pre-application planning engagement to supporting Gateway submissions under the Building Safety Act. Risk management is embedded in our approach: the site is constrained by party walls, an adjoining UKPN substation and neighbouring residential and commercial properties, and we are coordinating the consultant team through design development to ensure buildability, compliance and deliverability. As a Higher-Risk Building, the project is subject to the Gateway regulatory process, and we are actively supporting the team to fully address Gateway 2 requirements, with a focus on fire safety, compliance and the Golden Thread of information.
