Nottingham Carbon Neutral Housing

Project overview

In partnership with Nottingham City Council and the University of Nottingham, Develeco were engaged on an exciting collaborative project financed through the UK Community Renewal Fund. The fund aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK by piloting new approaches ahead of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Phase 1 of the project is limited to research and strategy. The purpose of the 'Nottingham Carbon Neutral Housing' project is to provide a realistic strategy for transforming and decarbonising the Nottingham housing stock. Develeco were tasked with forming a 'Cost vs Carbon Retrofit Roadmap'. Further project phases, likely to include physical retrofit pilot projects, are anticipated under the next funding window.
