Project overview
Develeco delivered a comprehensive energy audit and costed net zero analysis for a 170-unit aparthotel, working in collaboration with a trusted engineering partner on a fully integrated assessment. Building on an existing net zero carbon audit, our team carried out a detailed engineering-led feasibility study across all building systems. This included a full MEP conditions survey, calibrated dynamic energy modelling and a CRREM stranding analysis, establishing a precise picture of the asset's current performance and its position against future carbon benchmarks. Thirteen energy conservation measures were assessed in detail, covering smart energy management, heating and cooling upgrades, full electrification of domestic hot water via air source heat pump technology, rooftop solar PV and smart building technology integration. All recommendations were market tested for pricing accuracy and structured across phased implementation options, giving the client the flexibility to align capital investment with plant lifecycle and operational constraints.
