We are proud to be leading the delivery of this mixed-use scheme in Hackney, acting as Project Managers and Employer's Agent on behalf of our client. Located within the Mare Street Conservation Area, 10-24 Lamb Lane occupies a prominent and sensitive site in London Fields. The redevelopment involves the demolition of a low-quality post-war industrial building and the construction of a new high-quality contemporary development comprising 946 sqm of commercial office space and 19 residential apartments.
We are responsible for driving programme certainty and managing the project through critical milestones. From overseeing pre-application planning engagement to supporting Gateway submissions under the Building Safety Act, our team provides leadership to de-risk delivery and maintain momentum.
Risk management is embedded in our approach. The site is constrained by its urban context, including party walls, an adjoining UKPN substation and proximity to neighbouring residential and commercial properties. We are coordinating the consultant team through design development to ensure buildability, compliance, and that the scheme is deliverable without disruption to third parties.
As a Higher-Risk Building under the Building Safety Act, the project is subject to the Gateway regulatory process. We are actively supporting the project team to ensure that Gateway 2 submission requirements are fully addressed, with a focus on fire safety, compliance and the Golden Thread of information.
