Sustainability within construction has historically been associated with increased cost, reduced performance, more onerous maintenance requirements and a compromised aesthetic. Today, these associations are simply not accurate and can be easily avoided. At Develeco we understand the technologies, construction solutions and procurement techniques available and we aim to define a clear, project-specific Sustainability Brief with all of our clients from an early stage.
We are committed to delivering buildings that operate on a Net Zero basis. We are also ambitiously targeting the reduction of embodied carbon emissions within all of our projects, through circular principles, renewable technologies, regenerative design techniques, and Whole Life Carbon Assessments which look at Modern Methods of Construction and the use of alternative materials including Phase Change Materials and pre-fabricated timber.
